Exemptions
There are properties that are exempt from AB 1482
You are exempt from AB 1482 if you meet one of the following criteria:
- You are a natural person or trust that owns a single-family home or condominium
- A property that received its certificate of occupancy within the past 15 years
- Your property is already deed-restricted as affordable housing
- Housing owned by a non-profit, church, educational, or other government entity
